Living things and their habitats
In Science, we are leanring about living things and their habitats. We recently visited our forest area to find different invertebrates. The children used a pooter to collect living things so that we could take a closer look at them back in class. No bugs were harmed in the making of this activity and they were all released back into the wild safely afterwards! (Although, a few aggressive ants and spiders may have caused quite the drama amongst themselves!)
AeroZone Trip
Year 4 were lucky enough to be invited to spend the day at the AeroZone which is at Manchester Airport.
Here they learnt about all of the jobs you can do at the airport as well as trying out some of these for themselves! We aim to use our experiences to write information texts in English all about the airport. We will share these on the website once we have written them .
A big thank you to the parents who were able to offer their time and come with us on the trip. It is much appreciated and means that we can take the children out on these speical days.
