Online Safety
Project Evolve is an online safety programme which is taught across the school from Nursery to Year 6 and helps childrne to think about how to stay safe online. THe programme is complemented by Internet Safety week during the spring term.
Antibullying Week
The theme of Anti Bullying Week this year was,The Power for Good. Children enjoyed creating posters, class discussions and role play about understanding what bullying is and what they can do if they, or another child is experiencing difficulties.
Parliament Week
Last week we celebrated Parliament Week. The children enjoyed taking part in a number of activites across the school. We had a visit from the local Labour councilor Mike Kane, who spoke about his varied job and the different issues he is involved in. Also, the children were able to ask Mike lots of intersting questions about being a member of Parliament. Year 6 had a visit from a Magistrate and took part in exciting role play sessions about the role of a Magistrate.
